First 30 Days — The Compounding Window

The first 30 days are the highest-return investment window your account will ever have. The infrastructure you build, the enforcers you commit to, and the Investment Center research you unlock in Month 1 compound for the lifetime of the account. Rushing or spreading yourself thin here is the most expensive mistake in the game — because it costs you future output, not just present resources.

New accounts get a 3-day peace shield from player attacks. It breaks the moment you attack or scout another player. Don’t waste it — use the window to build infrastructure undisturbed.

  • Don’t scout. Don’t attack. Don’t poke the map.
  • Do build, research, and train continuously.
  1. Join an active faction immediately — before your first build. Faction help shaves time off every construction, and you forfeit that on anything you queue before joining. Pick a faction whose members actually log in daily.
  2. Open the second construction queue. It’s a one-time ~$5–10 purchase that permanently doubles building throughput — one of the best-value purchases in the game. (See Gold ROI Ladder.)
  3. Push Campaign aggressively. It’s the highest-return early activity: enforcer tokens, XP, speedups, resources, and gear all drop here. Sweep cleared stages.
  4. Pick ONE crew type — Bruiser, Hitman, or Biker — and commit all tokens and grade materials to that type’s best enforcers. Do not spread.

Treat the Investment Center like a second construction queue: always have something researching. The early picks that matter most:

  • Labor Unions — reduces construction time by up to ~40%. Push to Level 6, then stop and move on. Stacked with Underboss construction specialties, build times collapse.
  • Troop tier unlocks (T4/T5) before economy branches — combat tiers gate your competitiveness; passive economy boosts can wait.
  • Joined an active faction (before first build)
  • Second construction queue purchased
  • Reached VIP 6 (cheap, opens disproportionate value — see VIP Guide)
  • Labor Unions → Level 6
  • Committed to one crew type and started grading its core enforcers
  • Campaign pushed to your current power ceiling
  • Both construction queues busy at all times
